Depending on your selected luxury tier, you will stay at an exceptional hotel directly at or adjacent to the Lima airport. Rest peacefully to prepare for your early morning flight into the wild.

Navigating to the Eco-Lodge

In the morning, you will board your included domestic flight to Puerto Maldonado. Upon arrival, your representative will escort you to the river port to begin your Amazon adventure. You will board a private motorized boat, gaining your first impression of the lush Peruvian rainforest as you travel down the meandering river.

First Jungle Immersion

Arrive at your premium eco-lodge, carefully selected for its high ecological standards. After lunch, depart for your first afternoon excursion—a boat trip or jungle walk accompanied by a local expert. In the evening, enjoy a locally sourced dinner before experiencing the unique thrill of falling asleep to the symphony of the rainforest.

Canopy Walks & Wildlife Spotting

Awake to the dawn chorus of exotic birds. After a nourishing breakfast of local fruits, you will depart for your morning excursions. Depending on the lodge, this may include a thrilling canopy walk, kayaking, or visiting a vibrant clay lick. Our lodges employ passionate local guides who possess a deeply rooted understanding of the jungle's flora and fauna.

Amazonian Sunset

We highly recommend finding a quiet spot in the late afternoon to witness the magnificent sunset reflecting over the river. Return to the lodge for another exquisite dinner in the heart of the Amazon.

Caimans, Trails & Tranquility

Now fully acclimated to the humid embrace of the jungle, spend another full day exploring. You may opt for a longer trek to spot caimans and diverse monkey species, or visit a local community to learn about their sustainable agricultural practices. Alternatively, enjoy a peaceful boat ride along the Madre de Dios River, worshiping the pure tranquility of this untouched ecosystem.

From the Jungle to the Incan Empire

After a final morning river excursion, you will return to Puerto Maldonado to catch your included domestic flight to Cusco. Upon landing in the high Andes, your private guide will welcome you and immediately transfer you toward the lower altitude of the Sacred Valley to aid acclimatization.

Umasbamba Textiles & Maras

Along the route, we stop at Umasbamba, a local community off the beaten path where artisans create stunning textiles using ancestral techniques. After passing the beautiful Piuray Lake, you will arrive in the authentic farming village of Maras, where you will settle into your Andean villa surrounded by spectacular glacial views.

Pisaq Market & Andean Communities

Your journey deepens into the Sacred Valley, greeted by the Vilcanota River. Arrive at the colonial town of Pisaq to explore its narrow streets and traditional market. You will visit a native community to learn about the incredible variety of native Andean potatoes, culminating in a delicious, farm-to-table lunch made from products of the earth.

Pisaq Ruins & Inkariy Museum

Explore the archaeological jewel of Pisaq, renowned for its massive stepped terraces built on steep slopes. Later, we visit the Inkariy Museum, an immersive exhibition showcasing the pre-Hispanic cultures that shaped Peru (Chavin, Paracas, Mochica, Nazca, Inca). Relax for the night at one of the valley's finest hotels.

Chinchero Palace & Moray Laboratory

Your private tour continues to Chinchero, former palace of Inca Tupac Yupanqui, featuring ancient walls and a renowned textile center. We then venture to Moray, an impressive agricultural experimental site with deep, circular stepped terraces that created distinct microclimates for ancient crop testing.

Maras Salt Mines & Scenic Train

Next, we visit the stunning Maras Salt Mines, consisting of thousands of shimmering white salt wells. In the late afternoon, we arrive in the living Inca city of Ollantaytambo, where you will board the panoramic train to Aguas Calientes. Enjoy the dramatic transition into the cloud forest before checking into your premium hotel at the base of Machu Picchu.

The Lost City of the Incas

Early in the morning, your guide will escort you via shuttle bus up the mountain to the legendary citadel. During your comprehensive private tour, you will uncover the mysteries of the Sun and Condor temples, aqueducts, and sacred terraces. You will also have the opportunity to take on the famous mountain climb to the summit of Huayna Picchu (strictly limited permits must be booked in advance).

Return Journey to the Imperial City

After an awe-inspiring morning and a well-deserved lunch in town, you will board the scenic train back to Ollantaytambo. Upon arrival, our private transfer will be waiting to drive you comfortably up to the high-altitude imperial city of Cusco, dropping you off at your premium hotel for the night.

City Tour & San Blas

Start your day exploring Cusco's magnificent Temple of the Sun (Qoricancha), followed by the grand Plaza de Armas. We will then wander through the cobblestone streets of the San Blas neighborhood, famous for its artists and bohemian charm.

San Pedro Market & Cooking Studio

In the afternoon, dive into Peru's world-renowned gastronomy. After sourcing fresh ingredients at the vibrant San Pedro Market, you will head to a professional Cooking Studio. Here, a Peruvian chef will guide you in preparing iconic Andean dishes, enjoying an appetizer, main dish, dessert, and of course, a celebratory Pisco Sour toast!

Andahuaylillas, Raqchi & La Raya Pass

Early in the morning, embark on a spectacular road trip across the Andes towards Lake Titicaca. You will stop at the Andahuaylillas church, the "Sistine Chapel of the Andes," and the immense Inca temple of Wiracocha in Raqchi. After lunch, cross the breathtaking La Raya Pass (4,300m / 14,100ft), arriving in Puno on the shores of Lake Titicaca by late afternoon to relax.

Uros Floating Islands

Today, you will navigate the highest navigable lake in the world. We first visit the highly unique Uros Floating Islands, constructed entirely from native totora reeds. You will be amazed to see how locals use this plant to build their homes and islands, and you will enjoy a smooth ride on a traditional reed canoe.

Taquile Island Homestay

We continue via private motorboat to Taquile Island, globally celebrated for its UNESCO-recognized textile art. After a lunch of incredibly fresh lake trout, enjoy a scenic hike. In the evening, you will be warmly welcomed into an island hut by a local Quechua family, enjoying a home-cooked Peruvian dinner and a peaceful night’s rest away from the crowds.

Island Morning & Return Journey

Rise to a spectacular, unobstructed view of the sunrise illuminating the vastness of Lake Titicaca. After a local breakfast, take a guided walk to learn about Taquile's pre-Incan constructions and terraces. This is a profound opportunity to immerse yourself in a culture that has preserved its heritage for centuries. In the afternoon, we navigate back to Puno for a relaxing evening at your hotel.

Crossing the High Andes

Leave the lake behind as we journey towards the Colca Canyon, one of the deepest ravines in the world. This stunning 6-hour drive takes you through magnificent highland landscapes dotted with lagoons, trout farms, and flocks of Andean flamingos. You will cross the towering Patapampa Pass (4,850m / 15,912ft), offering unbelievable panoramic views.

Thermal Baths & Relaxation

Upon arrival at the picturesque villages near the canyon's entrance, you will check into your premium lodge. Spend the afternoon at your leisure—hike around the town, soak in the natural volcanic thermal baths, or simply relax surrounded by the breathtaking Andean nature.

Cruz del Condor

Very early in the morning, we travel along the edge of the canyon to the "Mirador Cruz del Condor," the ultimate vantage point overlooking a drop of 1,200 meters. Here, you will witness the awe-inspiring sight of majestic Andean Condors gliding effortlessly on thermal updrafts with breathtaking scenery in the background.

Journey to the White City

After a short hike along the canyon rim and a nicely prepared local lunch, we begin our descent out of the highlands. A scenic 4-hour drive past spectacular glaciers and volcanoes brings you to the elegant city of Arequipa, built almost entirely from white volcanic stone (sillar).

Farewell to Peru

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast in the beautiful city of Arequipa. At the appropriate time, your private driver will transfer you to the Arequipa Airport for your included domestic flight back to Lima (approx. 1.5 hours). You will arrive in Lima with ample time to connect to your international flight homeward bound. We hope your grand Peruvian odyssey leaves you with memories for a lifetime!
